A collection of stock music for a Brooklyn-based tie-dye company, influenced by vintage ‘60s and ‘70s library music, ‘90s shoegaze, early electronic music, and exotica.
Cat Hair Ensemble - East of Western
14 songs covering the oft-neglected genres of Balkan cowboy music, patricidal waltz, and nihilist tarantella, among others. I wrote the lyrics, music, and arrangements for all tracks except "Formal Friday," which was co-written by Clint Heidorn, and "From the Odessa Jail," which is an old Ukrainian gulag song. I also played accordion, guitar, tenor banjo, and sang on this recording.
